LeonDes startete seine DJ-Laufbahn mit dem Kauf eines DJ-Sets zu
Weihnachten 1999. Erste Mixversuche mit 70s Disco-Platten und ein
Auftritt auf Jahrgangsstufenparty verlaufen noch wenig erfolgreich.
Im Sommer 2000 legt er regelmäßig als sogenannter Bedroom-DJ für Freunde
auf und wir kurz darauf gefragter DJ im Fashion-Shop "Fifth Avenue". Im
Herbst folgt der Release einer limitierten Mix-CD. Im Sommer 2001 folgt
daher die zweite Mix-CD "Sommer House Vol. 1".
Bis zum Frühjahr 2002 folgen unzählige DJ-Gigs im "Fifth Avenue",
teilweise mit einer Set-Dauer von sagenhaften 6 Stunden am Stück. LeonDes
wird für 3 Monate DJ-Lehrer in Gevelsberg. Im Sommer erscheint die "Sommer
House Vol. 2" Mix-CD inklusive der erster Eigen-Produktionen "You would"
und "MIB Rmx", gleichzeitig wird er Resident-DJ im "Multi Kulti". Im
Herbst folgt der letzte medienwirksame Abschiedsauftritt als DJ im "Fifth
Avenue", parallel arbeitet er an der ersten professionellen Produktion
"Be U!".
Im Winter 2002 folgen Bookings als Gast-DJ im "Effect-Club", im "Eigenart"
und im "Dekadenz" (alle Lüdenscheid). Gleichzeitig wird er Mitglied im
"DJ-Booking.com" DJ-Pool. Nach kurzer Pause im Frühjahr/Sommer 2003 zwecks
Abitur, Canada-Tour und Zivildienstbeginn, startet er im Herbst mit der
neuen Mix-CD "Summer House Vol. 3" wieder durch. Ende 2003/Anfang 2004
stand dann die zweite professionelle Produktion "Re-member" an, im
Frühjahr hat er beim House-DJ-Contest im "Eigenart" einen
hervorragenden zweiten Platz belegt und wurde nur knapp in einem furiosen
Finale vom Sieger geschlagen.

LeonDes started his DJ-Career with the purchase of a DJ-Set on christmas
1999. His first efforts in mixing 70s Disco-Records and a performance at
the schools prom were less sucessful.
In summer 2000 he improved his skills as a so-called "Bedroom-DJ" by mixing
for his friends on several parties. Soon, he became a popular DJ at the
fashion-shop "Fifth Avenue". On request, he mixed a limited Mix-CD. In
Summer 2001 he mixed another one, named "Summer House Vol.1".
Till spring 2002 LeonDes had countless DJ-Gigs at "Fifth Avenue", partly
with a set-duration of icredible 6 hours! LeonDes became a DJ-Teacher for
3 month in Gevelsberg. In summer
2002 he released another Mix-CD named "Summer House Vol.2" including first
songs, produced by himself, named "You Would" and "MIB Rmx". At that time
he got his first resident-job at "Multi Kulti" and worked on his first
professional production "Be U!". His last performance at "Fifth
Avenue" in fall 02 was caught by the news.
In winter 2002 LeonDes played as a Guest-DJ for the "Effect Club" at "Club
Eigenart" and for "Club Dekadenz" in Lüdenscheid. At that time he became
member in the "DJ-Booking.com" DJ-Pool. After a short break in Summer
2003 due to his a-levels, his Canada-Tour and the beginning of his
civil-service, he gets back to business with his new Mix-CD "Summer House
Vol.3". In winter 2003 he started his new production "re-member"
and was judged 2nd at the Eigenart DJ-Contest.
LeonDes is a House-DJ whose sets are euphorically and uplifting. Two years
ago he started to integrate Breakbeats to vary in style and, of course, in
rhythm. His first professional production "Be U!" reflects this
change.
With the vocals by Janine Meyer, LeonDes current song "re-member"
will be a great Summer-Tune. This uplifting House-Tune will be released this
spring.
"re-member" and "Be U!" will be released on several
promotional records this summer.
